No! It's never too late to join the Ski Club! Come to our weekly Meetings or Office Hours to pay your membership fee.
Absolutely! We are a social club that is out to have a good time. Many of our members are beginners.
No. The OSU Ski Club is in no way associated with the OSU Ski Team.
We are a social club that takes 400+ ski and snowboarders to Colorado at the end of fall quarter and feature weekly socials. Our club provides wild weekend trips at luxury ski resorts during winter quarter, as well as an untamed spring-break expedition.
The OSU Ski Team is a completely different on-campus student organization which compete against affliate institutions in Ohio regarding strict formats of olympic-style challenges, stunts, and exploitations.
Also, it is worth noting that the OSU Ski Team has recently changed their name to OSU Ski & Board Team. Please do not confuse them with The OSU Ski & Snowboard Club, which is us!
Yes, our members receive deeply discounted rates on equipment rentals. Specific rates are usually not available until a few weeks before the trip.
It is 35 dollars to join the Ski Club. After you join, you will be issued a membership card which entitles you to all OSU Ski Club benefits. The card is valid for that entire school year.
Membership fees and Trip deposits/payments can be paid at our weekly Meetings. If you can't make the weekly meetings, we offer Office Hours during the week.
Yes, you can mail in your deposit, payment(s), and/or membership fee if you live out of the area and are planning on attending one of our upcoming trips. Remember to include all necessary forms as well. Please make sure to contact us before sending any type of payments in the mail.
We accept Cash, Check, and Money Order/Cashier Check.
All checks can be made out to The Ohio State University Ski Club.
Yes, you can write one check for your trip deposit and membership fee, etc.
Yes, our Ski Club Socials are every Thursday (10PM) @ The O Patio. Members who show their club card as well as 21+ ID get free pitchers of beverage all night!

The dates of our huge winter break trip to Breckenridge, Colorado are December 11 - 17, 2011. Please note, The Buses depart Columbus, OH on Saturday, December 10 and return Sunday the 18th

Pricing for Breckenridge, Colorado is as follows:
- 635 dollars including luxury bus travel.
- 460 dollars without travel. If you would like to fly, you would choose this option and you must arrange your own flight or travel details.
Yes! Anyone can go on our trips as long as they are at least 18 years of age and have a valid, current, OSU Ski Club membership card.
To guarantee your spot on our winter trip, the following requirements must be made:
The first Breckenridge trip deposit is due October 19, 2011.
The final payment for the Steamboat trip will be due on November 16, 2011.
Yes, you can arrange your own flight into Denver, Colorado. We will have an optional shuttle to take you from Denver to Breckenridge. For more information regarding the shuttle, check out the Transportation page.
Our trip includes 4 days of lift passes for Breckenridge or Keystone. You can also use up to 2 days of the pass at Vail. An optional 5th day pass to Vail, Keystone or Breckenridge can be purchased at a heavily discounted rate.
Our accommodations are always in luxury condos or lodges. This year, we will be staying in The Pine Ridge condominiums. Check out the Winter Trip Page for photos and more details.
We will be collectively leaving Columbus, OH on December 11, 2011. Specific times will be released in December.
We will be leaving Breckenridge, CO to return to Columbus, OH on December 19, 2011. Specific departure times will be released in December.
Yes, you and your friends can create a group name. Those who you wish to room with must list the same group name on their trip forms. Only give your group name to persons you wish to be roomed with! All rooms will be filled to capacity. Make sure to divide groups between four or six people!
*We make every effort to put you with your friends, however there are some circumstances (ex: if the group is larger than six people) which may cause your group to be split. You will be notified of your room arrangements before the trip).
